New Delhi (India), October 19: Ashia Sahota outshined on the global stage. She became Mrs Universe South Pacific Asia 2023, along with the subtitle of Mrs Independent Woman at Mrs Universe 2023. She is a true example of beauty with a brain. India is truly proud of her daughter for making her country shine in the Philippines. 100 delegates from different countries participated in the contest from all over the globe.

In August, Ashia Sahota won the prestigious title of Mrs India Queen of Substance 2023 Second Runner Up. A professor of English Literature by profession, her passion for beauty pageants has consistently led her to victory. She is indeed a true example of beauty with a brain. She was also among the winners of Miss PTC Punjabi 2011. Initially, she had plans to participate in Miss India 2012, but she had to prioritise her studies at that time. Nevertheless, her determination to represent her nation on a global stage and her fervour for beauty pageants motivated her to enter Mrs India 2023 contest, followed by Mrs Universe 2023.

She aspires to be a voice for women who harbour ambitions and dreams but faces societal barriers in their pursuit of them. In addition to her role as a professor of English, she envisions elevating her nation’s reputation on the global stage through her voice and presence in the world of glamour. Her ultimate goal is to champion the cause of women as multi-talented individuals breaking free from the constraints associated with marriage. She aims to pave the way for women to excel in any field they choose, unrestricted by marital status, and ensure that their capabilities are recognized and celebrated worldwide.
