Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], March 15: Recognizing the importance of education and research in the field of Jain studies and empowering minority communities, the Government of India, under the inspiration of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Panch Prana’ initiative, has allocated Rs. 40 crores to Gujarat University’s ‘Center of Jain Manuscriptology’ (GUCJM) under the PMJVK scheme for conducting research in languages and texts in the field of Jain studies.
