SICC Hosts National Golf Event in Bangalore as a Post-TEPA Initiative to Boost Indo-Swiss Relations

 Bangalore (Karnataka) [India],October 15: The Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC) successfully organized the ‘Indo Swiss Golf Tournament’ at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) in Bangalore on Saturday, 5th October 2024. The event, designed to strengthen Indo-Swiss relations and promote sustainable growth, brought together an esteemed gathering of industry leaders, government officials, diplomats, and CEOs from Swiss companies operating in India. The tournament provided a unique platform to foster business collaboration and highlight the importance of Swiss investment in India, particularly in light of the recently signed Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between the two nations.

The event attracted over 100 guests from various sectors, including corporate executives, Swiss consulate members, Indian government officials, and key players from the Swiss business community in India. The Chief Guest, Patrick Mueller, Deputy Consul General of Switzerland in Bangalore, highlighted the importance of TEPA in his address, noting, “TEPA marks a significant milestone in the relationship between India and Switzerland. It opens doors to promising investment opportunities and strengthens the trade ties between our two nations, offering a brighter economic future.”
