September 27: Ajay Ajmera, the founder and CEO of Ajmera Fashion, Surat, has been awarded the prestigious “Shikhar Samman – Pride of Gujarat” award for the unparalleled work he has done in the field of women empowerment. The award was conferred by Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Patel and Honourable Home Minister of Gujarat Shri Harsh Sanghvi in a grand ceremony held on September 19 2022, in Gandhinagar. 

Mr. Ajay Ajmera, with his tireless efforts, enabled more than 7 thousand women from economically weaker sections of society to start their own clothing businesses. Thereby making them self-reliant and setting a great example in the field of women empowerment through entrepreneurship.
