A campus placement drive was organized at JG College of Commerce by JG University

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], April 5:  A campus placement drive was organized for the students of the JG College of Commerce. B. Com and M. Com students by J G University Placement Cell on 31 March 2023 and 1 April 2023. 16 companies visited the college to offer placements in companies and full-time jobs, part-time jobs and internships to the students based on the needs and interests of the students.

Including Smytten, ADAS Globus, AccountsBytes, VasyERP, Dhyan Chess Academy, and Skyblue Art Pvt. Ltd. Companies who came to the campus placement. Before the companies visited the campus for interviews, a workshop was organized for the registered students to explain effective resume-making, How to face the interview, proper dress up, body language and other technical aspects related to the interview. Out of the total registered students, 10 students were offered jobs, and more than 70 per cent of students were shortlisted for the second round.

A job of Rs 25000 monthly was given to B.Com students through JG University Placement. Such workshops and campus placement drives play an effective role in bridging the gap between industry and academia. The company gets a competent workforce, and the students get the right start to their careers.
