
Holi Milan and International Women’s Day Celebration by Northern Railway Workers Union
New Delhi [India], March 13: The Northern Railway Workers Union (URMU) organized a special event on March 12, 2025, to celebrate Holi Milan and International Women’s Day. The event aimed to raise awareness about women’s social, political, and economic rights and honor their contributions.
Women employees from various departments of Northern Railway participated in the program. General Secretary Shri B.C. Sharma emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment and reaffirmed the commitment to continuously fight for their rights.
A self-defense training session was conducted by Delhi Police, along with various competitions for women employees. Winners were recognized and awarded for their excellence.
The Holi Milan celebration created a joyful atmosphere, where everyone exchanged greetings and celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm.
This event not only strengthened women’s social standing but also promoted a positive message about their rights and dignity.
